Chocolate Crinkle Kiss Cookies

This was a hit at Christmas, but would be good anytime.  It is chocolate.  With the Kisses, it is double chocolate.  Need I say more?  It is adapted from the Baker Girl blog.

2 cups flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
Hershey Kisses - I used Candy Cane Hugs - simply amazing!  Something minty would be good too!

Beat together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
In a larger bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.  Stir flour mixture in.  Refrigerate for about 2 hours.
Unwrap Kisses/Hugs and freeze.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place powdered sugar in a small bowl.  Make small dough balls (will expand when baking) and roll in powdered sugar.  Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 11-13 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately top with a frozen Kiss/Hug.
